Hellenic PH organised a series of informative events in North Athens with the aim of raising public awareness and improving understanding about pulmonary hypertension and other rare diseases.Information leaflets were given out, along with PH pins, hats, and balloons.
We visited the following municipalities: Marousi (4/6),Chalandri (8/6), Psychiko (11/6) Kifisia (14/6)and Dionysos (15/6).
The success of our mission in Marousi exceeded even our own expectations as we found two new patients! One of them was diagnosed with PH but had no pharmaceutical access and needed help! We would like to thank the Mayor of Marousi George Patoulis for his help and support, and the Mayor of Chalandri George Kourasis, who was present at our event.
